Licensed Maryland RSA · No. RSA-01516
Queen Latifat Health is a licensed Maryland Residential Service Agency in Baltimore, Maryland, supporting older adults and individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities, including autism, right where they call home.
Who we are
We started Queen Latifat Health to bring warm, professional care into the home, the place where people feel most themselves. For older adults and for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the right support can mean staying connected to family, routine, and community.
As a licensed Maryland Residential Service Agency and Health Care Staffing Agency, we pair compassion with accountability: trained caregivers, registered-nurse oversight, and clear communication with the families who trust us.
Our goal is to secure self-determination and rights, promote opportunities for community participation, and keep older adults and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities safe, healthy, and appreciated.
To give opportunities and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, associated disorders such as autism, and older adults, with intellectual and developmental disorders.
What we stand for
We meet each person with respect, listening before we ever talk about tasks.
Licensed, regulated care with registered-nurse oversight at its center.
We support people to stay connected to the people and places they love.
We honor each person’s right to make choices about their own care and life.
A Maryland Residential Service Agency license means Queen Latifat Health is inspected and regulated by the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ). It is a standard we are held to, not a claim we make about ourselves.
It also means clinical care is delegated and overseen by a registered nurse in accordance with the Maryland Board of Nursing, so the support in your home is both compassionate and accountable.
The people who enter your home matter as much as the care itself. Our caregivers are screened, reference-checked, and trained for the kind of support they provide, and clinical tasks are assigned only to staff qualified and delegated to perform them.
We work to send consistent, familiar caregivers rather than a rotating cast of strangers, because trust is built through continuity, and we want your loved one to feel known.
Good to know
A Residential Service Agency (RSA) is licensed by the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality to provide non-clinical and skilled in-home support, with clinical tasks delegated by a registered nurse under the Maryland Board of Nursing. It is a distinct license category focused on care in a person’s home rather than a facility.
